Central PA | I'm thinking about buying a planter this winter. I currently have a neighbor do it with a Kinze 3660 12 row. It's 100% no-till into some big covers. I was looking at Kinze 6/11s but stumbled onto the Black Machine/Whites. It seems like everyone is a big fan of the White meters. What about the row units? How does a 6342 White Unit compare to a 3000 Kinze unit when it comes to some very challenging no-till conditions. What about an 8342? How will an mx135 mfwd handle the White folded up? Will the negative tongue weight be too much for it? Can you put the wing wheels down when they're folded back to get rid of the negative tongue weight? I work full time and will be using the same tractor to plant, spray and bale in the spring so being able to plant 12 rows of corn would be nice.
