Subject: Re: auction day in ne

South-central Nebraska
I was at the sale today, cold, good crowd and things sold well for the seller I thought. I should of tried to meet a few guys there but I had my hood up, phone buried layers deep and just tried to stay somewhat warm. Anyway, there were all kinds of discussion of what happened and why. I DONT KNOW WHAT IS TRUE/FALSE. Rob is approx late 30's and married with kids. Farmed close to 6000 acres. Has $6.5 million op. note, was selling loan corn owned by landlords (all but 120 acres leased), stuck Aurora coop with 360,000 bu corn on a HTA, planted bin run soybeans, traded equipment that was not legit with lease conditions and even had an affair with another woman. You sort out the facts, plenty of talk and it was REAL cheap. All I know is that he had a LOT of newer equipment, often two of each only a few serial numbers apart.
