Eastern Canada | We got into the tile business a couple years ago with an older D8 dozer with a mounted plow. Dozer came wired with laser system which we are still using, as it works well for us and is simple to operate. Only drawback is the time it takes to set up and move the laser, as we are in hilly ground and often end up moving the laser 4-5 times a day.
I have looked at some different GPS systems and no doubt this will be the way to go in the future, as it will save quite a bit of time for us every day.
I'm just wondering what guys are using for GPS systems on your plows and what the good/bad/ugly is on each system. Tons of options out there, so all info/tips/pointers are welcome. Thanks | |
