They were planted on Oct. 10 or a few days before going by this picture. It was dry when planted but got enough of a rain few days after to get them up and growing. I was really scared they would run out of moisture and dye before finally got a good rain. I didn't water them and we had actually had a fairly good rain that put them to growing good before I plowed the middles out. Yes we plant on the ridges.
