if the front did not break thru i would say keep fans runing regardless of snow its been my exspeirance that if you shut fans off before front breaks thru it will mold below the susface were you cant seeit faster than you realize and gets harder to get the air moving later when you resart the fans. once front moves thru then you pick the good days
