| I'm not sure on the "sand stress" part yet. I have a contact, and also his neighbor, in MO that had some on clay knobby soil and it didn't hang in very low yield 100bu drought type environments. 6589 did much better. It yielded well in most plots this year and outyielded 5828 in internal plot data last year. I'd say where you are at it's fine along with 5829 for low cost. I just have not seen it on sand knobs in our soils and your type to say it's a go. | |
