We’ve had 2 modules burn so far and 4-5 basket fires. The cause of the exorbitant number of fire is that most of the cotton on the high plains didnt fully mature and has low micronaire. There are more than normal small fine fibers that reach ignition much easier. There is an endorsement on crop hail that covers fire and I’m in the process of finding out how much it pays. Had a doozy of a basket fire last night, as the basket was fully engulfed in flames before I got it dumped.
. Did it ruin your basket?
