Interesting that you use both wheel and rotary rakes...... your thoughts on each type?

I'd like a rotary rake, mainly due to (hopefully) cleaner hay, even windrows, but I hear that they're not very fast in comparison to the v-rake? I've hit 55 acre/hour with my 12-wheel with the right crop moisture and field conditions. Certainly isn't my average though.

Just wish they'd make a bigger picker.... still like the 6-high, but wish they'd make it 3 deep or more (3x4s). We have to haul way too far to make one work out, even behind a semi (up to 15 miles, mostly under 10 though, closest is 3). Not sure as stacking in field saves any time, however would help when racing the rain.

Small world, and yes, seems like a nice operation. Shocked he doesn't run a GPS system though....?
