Dayton, OH | yeah don't ever use those "free" sites, they're out to take your money and run. If you don't have a recovery disk of any kind then best free option is to get a copy of ubuntu linux on a USB stick (https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/tutorial-create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#0) and then boot to the flash disk and install ubuntu. It would be a little different Windows, but for playing music off an external drive it would probably be no big deal at all. | |
