South Central Kansas | I might add that you don't need drone deploy unless your intent is to create ortomosaics, or stitched maps of a given area using individual images assembled into one large image.
If you're just wanting to get an eye in the sky, DD isn't necessary.
Also don't forget that if you are using a drone for any purpose, other than recreation, you will need to get your part 107 certification from the FAA. This would include using a drone on your own farm for pretty much anything. Even posting drone-based video on youtube could be considered self promotion or marketing. Using imagery to make any sort of decision on your farm would be considered commercial use. | |
