NE CO | Correct, the 1800 will map coverage but that is it, it doesn't record documentation info such as applied rate, variety, etc. But since it just has coverage only, that will work to control the planter liked you'd want to. You just have to get a rate controller to hook into the system to control the clutches along with a section control activation for the display.
However I'd probably try to steer you away from an 1800 as it is on its way out and has limited functionality to begin with, especially if you want to get autotrac and section control activations for it, unless your getting a good deal on a used system. You might look into the Gen4 display if that will work with what you have and you're looking for more functionality down the road, just my 2 cents! | |
