South Georgia | I agree, it does seem complicated.
We were trying to figure how to set our spreader for oats the other day, they are so light, they are way off the scale of the rudimentary bulk density chart provided by the manufacturer. So we did some extrapolating. I’d rather just spend the time to have Excel do the math for me. It would be even better if there was an app, but I have no idea how to do that.
It will be easy to verify this with a scale because we have a scale on our seed tender. This is harder to do with fertilizer because we often have it delivered to the farm in a tender, and we do not have any scales on our farm.
