I agree I would not go that far out. But you asked about 11.00 calls. August 1100 calls are about $.28. I would look at acres. If you have 1000 acres of corn you would buy 50000 bu of calls for about $14,000. What would it cost you to store 175,000 by corn?
I am planning on doing something similar. Selling corn and buying beans and MWE to replace the corn. Going to do contracts not options.
