Assume, 750 pounds need gained and 100 bushels weigh 6000 pounds(?).
Then 6000 / 750 yields 8 pounds of corn per pound of gain.
At 3 pounds gain of day you would be feeding 24 pounds of corn.
At $3.00 corn the corn cost of gain is 46.47 cents a pound.
