I would agree with that. Lenovo Thinkpad hard to beat, although I am currently looking at upgrading my old ThinkPad T430S to a Gigabyte Aero 14 for the QHD 1440P display and graphics capability, along with massive battery
Would look T470/570 if you don't need high end graphics. Maybe even the older 460
