SE Nebraska | My granddaughter was sitting on my lap when I was starting my computer up. She reached down and repeatedly pressed one of the buttons. There is an enter button an up and down button and some others. Well it would not boot. It stops before it begins to load windows and the bar that scrolls from left to right before the windows screen stops about 10% of the way. It stays that way for a few minutes and then displays a blue screen that said that the computer experienced a problem and needs to shut down. I thought that the hard drive was toast, but when I hooked it to an external usb enclosure I can read all the information. I put a drive in the tablet from a second tablet and the drive works in the computer in question. so the computer seems ok and I can read the info from the drive. Where do I go from here? | |
