NW Washington | If you get one get a sealed unit that uses outside air for combustion and get the added fan to circulate hot air around the firebox. We have a Vermont Casting unit that has been fine although the fan is a little noisy. My biggest gripe is that the glass front gets a white deposit on it on the inside that seems to be impossible to remove, even with special products that claim to be able to do the job. And the glass must be made of unobtainium as the dealer wants a huge amount of money for a replacement glass.
