I can see it working on a planter OK, but how about a pull-type implement working "in-row", like an N applicator of some type. Could even be mounted. How far would it steer the tractor off the row center? You normally have only a couple inches either side w/18" tires in 30" rows anyway.

Or-does this only work w/planters?

 


After having a couple of opportunities to see active implement steering in action, I asked the same thing in 2006 when Deere announced iGuide.
