Subject: What would it take for you to sublease ground October-February?

North Central Illinois
I am looking for creative ways to feed an expanding sheep flock. I fatten lambs on forage, and there are quite a few canning crops grown nearby. A lot of cover crops get planted in late summer on those acres. I would love to be able to lease grazing on those fields in the fall. Any of you who plant cover crops in that situation, would you ever consider such an arrangement, and if so, what would I have to do to make it beneficial to you?

On my own ground, the grazing value pays for the seed and planting cost easily, so I could justify paying that much for rent.
