NW KS | You would need an ez-pilot platform kit for your 8410. The platform kits run around 500-600. Then you need a navII controller and the sam200 steering motor. The NavII controller would be 2500-3000 for a used one. The sam200 steering motor I'm not sure of the price on. The last time I priced a sam200 stering motor it was nearly the same price as an Ez-pilot. Price wise it might be cheaper to find a used ez-pilot and use the motor from that but I haven't checked for a while. Then you need a wiring harness part number 85000-02 which I believe was around 850 the last time I checked. That would be all of the major parts you would need. I might have missed a cable or two. Price wise you are looking at about the same cost as an autopilot but the install is somewhat simpler. Performance would be similar between the autopilot and the autopilot motor drive. | |
