Grabill, Indiana | While running beans today our R52 with Deutz engine began running hot. I found that the rotary screen was barely spinning and that the cooling air blower seems loose. We pulled the combine in the shop and removed the blower assembly and found that the coupling clutch was sloppy and did not have any way to connect the shafts to make the fan spin.
I've never had one of these apart so I am working blind. Any suggestions on what the coupling clutch is supposed to act like when out of the engine?
