The setting on the Hagie display should be left at the defaults. These setting only effect the performance of the kickout signal, as long as the SmarTrax system is disengaging when the steering wheel is turned these should not be adjusted. It is a common misunderstanding that these settings effect steering performance. I agree with the other posters about checking the wheel angle sensor (WAS) on a Hagie this sensor is located inside the right front steering cylinder and can be read both in the Viper 4 as well as in the Hagie display under the measure group. Bottom button on the right side (arrow with the dot), Measure, AWS, highlight Right front AWS position and right front AWS pos sensor. As you turn from lock to lock the value should smoothly change without large jumps or erratic values. Another area to investigate is simply making sure that everything in the steering linkage (both front and rear if you have AWS) is tight, any sloppiness at the top of the leg will be amplified resulting in poor performance. Lastly make sure you are on up to date on software in the SmarTrax node, Raven has improved the Hagie profile a number of times resulting in noticeable improvements in steering performance over the past few years.
