Subject: Ram 2500 Replacing Cab Fan Switch?

Chillicothe, Missouri
2007 Dodge with 5.9 Cummins

The cab fan had been acting a little weird, it would not blow on Med-High, or High at times, but if I would shut it off for a while, and then switch back to the high position and it would speed back up.
There was a few times when hitting a slight bump in the road, it would speed up to the setting that was selected.

Friday, the fan totally quit working. I am wondering if the selector switch may be faulty; there was one time the fan was running on low when the switch was in the off position.
Now with the fan not working, and fan switched to off, you can switch the A/C on and hear the A/C clutch engage over the engine idling.

Has anyone had this happen?
I think it may be the switch in the dash, looking to figure out how to get the switch console out of the dash to replace the switch?

Thanks for the help.
