Mine was the wiring connector went bad on the fan would shake it and put a zip tie to tighten it. Worked for a while till it fried cut it out and put butt connectors.
Fans located under passenger dash right at the feet easiest thing to get to 1/4 to the left and it comes right out not even a cover to take off and put back on.
