Maybe, when it first started in 2009, was it a viewed as "non mainstream", but as time as went on, IMO, it went deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories as well as a decidedly more and more negative tone about economic collapse perpetuated by some sort or another.

The site is a haven for conspiracy theorists and pseudo Austrian economic theories like hyper- inflation, and gold to protect one's survival in the coming economic collapse, etc. etc.

A little skepticism, is healthy, but in this case they take it to far, and as time has gone on those articles that I do read have become less and less.

They do occasionally have some very good articles, but for me, it is becoming harder and harder to wade thru what I consider BS.
