Fruita CO | Pull a plug out & take the springs out-see how it fits the threads. This pump, the fit is just sloppy, like the threads are oversize...should be a snug fit. be interesting to see if there's another on elike this one. You might look at the plugs too, JD says they had some that cracked. If it's the same one all the time & the plug comes loose, you might have a cracked housing.
New pump from JD was ~$3400, rebuilt JD was ~$1500, the new one I got was $1075 from ASAP. Made in Turkey of all places, but I've used 2 or 3 of them now, & so far so good...I think Worthington, Abilene, & others sell the same thing. | |
