Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Not exactly following. The system will use the moisture it senses to mathematically dry the crop to the moisture level you have chosen. This would be appropriate since you are usually interested in the yield compensated for moisture. This is done when the dry weight or yield is viewed.

For example if you are harvesting soybeans and have the moisture level set to 13%, the system will mathematically shrink those areas where the moisture is above 13%. If areas are below 13% then no shrink is applied.

Older Ag Leader monitors had the option to mathematically unshrink those areas that were below the level set. In other words if the soybeans were over dry then weight would be added. The only use that I could think of for using that option might be for test plots where some of the varieties got over dry and the operator wanted them all to be at the 13% level for comparison. I don't recall if the newer systems even have that option.

The wet weight should continue to agree with a scale when the moisture changes.
