| Had potential to be bigger than last years record crop until August came. Six tenths of an inch since July 21 and they were in 1 tenth increments so didn't even get ground wet in bean canopy. Gonna be a lot of trash going thru combine trying to keep the "BBs" in. Easily lost 15-20 bu during August/sept. So far! Sounds like Minnestota is gonna have to carry the U.S. In beans this year.
Corn will be respectable but losing test weight each day. VERY poor finish to a crop that had great potential thru July. | |
