Down here it was called no rain for 70 days stunted the plant out. We have some 120-150bu corn that you never disappear in the field being 6ft tall. Just amazing it has the ear it does, that said we have a couple of 50-75bu fields that where planted too early and never made it to august rains. Those are only armpit high.
