We've tried 2 different brands of coffee.  McCafe and some other.  We have a BUNN coffee maker with the plastic holder in which you put a BUNN filter, then the coffee.

Both of these brands end up not letting the water through, the water, coffee and grounds come over the top and make a mess on the counter.

We've used the machine for years and never had a problem with stuff such as Folgers.  The last couple of years we've just used it as a quick source of hot water for instant coffee. 

But my wife wanted something different and wanted to just have coffee ready all the time.  But this is more work and time consuming than making a cup of instant.  Can't figure out why they'd make a product that won't let the water through, turns to mud basically.
