Subject: RE: 470 Quadtrac Autotrac

I couldn't say for sure if John Deere has a solution for that one or not, but I know that Raven does, and I'm sure other companies as well. It's not much different of a concept than the steer-by-wire John Deere and Massey tractors, to name a couple. It's just a matter of tying into the tractor CAN. Just FYI, the earlier Steigers actually weren't CAN. It may have been a 4-pin Deutsch connector going to it, but those are actually PVES control, which is basically the variation of voltage on the signal wire to the valve to make it steer left or right. The other three wires going to it are power, ground and error status.
