NESD
The Nov time line is not accurate, on June 1st, 2017 activations were no longer available to purchase for an iTC, on June 1st, 2018 Activation's will be locked on iTC receivers and will remain until the receiver dies, those on SF2 will still be able to purchase subscriptions as they have in the past, so up until June 1st Activation's can be removed and transferred to a SF3000 or SF6000.

As far as 2600 displays go there isn't a cut off date set, Deere did come out and state that Nov 2018 the 2600 would start the phaseout process but because of dealer feedback this was taken off the table, the reasoning was that 1800 and the 2600 are both GS2 and the 1800 could still be purchased new it wasn't fair to phaseout the 2600, but now the 1800 is limited to dealer stock so the reality is the 2600 isn't long for this world either.

As for upgrading the activations from a 2600 to 4640 that is not possible, in the 4640 the customer will not own the activations as they will be on a subscription basis being purchased for 1 or 5 year periods, the same holds true for activations from a 2630 to a 4640, Activation's can be transferred from a 2600 to a 2630, Activation's also cannot be transferred from a 2600/2630 to a 4600 command center. All current activations can be traded in to the dealer for new activations for a 4600.

Do I have everyone thoroughly confused on Activation's now ?
