Subject: Deere vs. Trimble again...

SCMN

After speaking with reps for both Deere AMS and Trimble here's where I'm at...

Deere system will cost me $10K for what I want to do(ATU wheel kit, SF1, GS Original Display, misc hardware)

Similar setup from Trimble will run me $6500.

I already have one Deere system for tillage/anhydrous application.  It's easy to setup and use.  I have not run a Trimble system so I have nothing to comapre to.  I should have no problem switching either sytem between and 8100 for planting, 7800 for spraying, and 9500 for combining.  All will be run off the steering wheel and not integrated.  Can anyone sway me one way or another?  Obviously price would send me toward Trimble but let's ignore that for the time being.
