Watched one burn one spring while doing tillage work. The freeway was only open in one direction and the fire department didn't set any speed records getting there. It started burning slowly at first, but not a lot left by the time the fire trucks arrived.
At a driving class for emergency vehicles, car/ vehicle fires are comparible to a rubish fire because the cars go up so fast and typically on hurt said car that was on fire. We are lucky to have a very good responding fire department, on average we have a truck on the Road at about 3 min and on scene at about 9 mins. |
