Iowa - Floyd County | Thanks for the thoughts so far guys. As it sits right now there isn't room to drop them whole, they are too close to the existing house, there is a road/power lines on one side, and our 3-phase power comes in on the other side of them. The existing house is coming down so we can build a new one but it needs to be cleaned out yet. I may just have to wait until that is done to get the trees down. I have no way to deal with trees that big so I'll have to have some help from someone even if it's just getting them down. I don't want the lumber but there will certainly be a lot of it there, I'm not aware of anyone in this area that has a portable mill. There is one commercial mill in the area that makes pallets, mulch, etc. but hey weren't interested in them. Here's an overhead view of the farm, trees are circled in red.
