Yes key on to get voltage to third function, engine NOT running, wiggle the third function should do it
This is what we do. When I unhook my grapple, I shut the tractor down, turn the key back on and cycle the button to bleed the pressure off. Hooking up is always easy as long as you haven't accidentally bumped the button.
