Subject: Late Season N on Beans

Central MN
Is there any merit to adding late season N on irrigated beans? The beans are just getting into R4 now and looking really good, they probably have a yield potential in the 80 bushel range if all goes well the rest of the year (and we miss the early frost). I just don't want them to run out of N before the pods fill. The latest tissue samples from last week show 5.7% and 6.3% N from two areas of the field. The N would be fertigated on.
