S Illinois | 2. The is a big difference between air concentration and liquid concentration. Not real familiar, but here is a site showing another chemical conversion between the two.

In this case the air concentration number was 200 times more concentrated when expressed in liquid form. Dicamba has a molecular weight 3 times heavier than the linked chemical, so maybe dicamba expressed as a liquid concentration is 60 times more concentrated or 24ppm as a liquid concentrate. This is all just extremely rough guesses with only basic college chemistry behind it so more experienced experts may be needed to correct this.
3. The damage is showing up 10-20 days afterward. Dicamba at lower concentrations doesnt express itself on older foliage. It's the new growth that shows the damage, so it only shows up as fast as new trifoliate come out. | |
