We've had a couple new born calves go hide in the corn, have never lost one in it. I had completely given up on one last year, figured either it didn't get its colestrum or a coyote had got it. Watched the cow all day long, never saw the calf. Then about 10 days later it was walking around the pasture with its mother. I've tried the holler and make noise method, that didn't work unless I was so close that I was going to step on it, then it got up and ran for the pasture. Maybe when drones can do infrared heat detection like we see on the movies then cattle operators will buy them. Good luck.
