Start with a razor blade. I'd be a little surprised if it won't just peel off the laminate, unless it's old and perhaps worn thru the protective gloss topcoat. Then mineral spirits. That's what I used to use to get GG off my hands. If you feel the urge to scrub, use a white scotchbrite.

With anything, it's best to start with the weakest solvent and go up until you find what works or what damages the finish. Roughly (IIRC) in this order:

1. Citrus- about anything with Orange in the name- or Goo Gone
2. Denatured alcohol
3. Naphtha
4. Mineral spirits
5. Acetone (more or less the same as nail polish remover)
6. Lacquer thinner

Your mileage may vary. Beyond #1 and #2, test in an inconspicuous area (if there is one). Dab on just a bit with a rag and see if the area becomes sticky to the touch. If that's okay, then try a gentle rub to see if any color comes off on your rag. If not, then let it dry and see if the area remains 'cloudy'. That means you've gone thru the shine. If it does, then you have gone too far up the scale. Strong solvents are by nature volatile- they'll quickly evaporate and shouldn't leave much of a mark if you haven't tried to wipe it up.

Be prepared to live with it if you can't get it off without making it worse.
