Y'all act like nobody can farm without this stuff. Some of us don't have $25,000 in a tractor let alone guidance and controllers. I understand it's supposed to be more productive and efficient but at what cost? For my operation I see the value added being so small that it can't possibly justify the cost just for convenience.

Is this tech stuff that important that people can't live without it? This is a serious question, not trying to be a smart ***. Is newer equipment that dependant on technology that requires updates and licensing fees?
