Do you need to buy a scandisk for data storage for a PRO 600 from CNH or can you buy one from an electronics supplier. Dealer talks vaguely about formatting.
The one from CNH is tested and supported. You might find one somewhere else that will work, but you'll be taking a chance.
Formatting needs to be FAT (FAT16) or FAT32. This is true for the CNH cards as well, but they come pre-formatted and ready to use. Cards purchased from somewhere else must be formatted before use. |
