roaming | on a 1200 planter, the Case IH row sensors communicate with a controller called an MIU (or a Rate ECU on the new planters). It's this controller that actually communicates with the Pro600 via a CAN bus. So it's not just as simple as replacing the Kinze seed sensors with Case IH sensors.
You could use your Pro600 for mapping varieties with your 3400, but since the Pro600 cannot communicate with the Kinze rate controller (unless the Kinze is ISOBUS compliant, and I'm pretty sure it's not), you would only be mapping the target rate, not the actual applied rate.
Also, the Pro600 currently has no external work switch input, so you would need to manually enable/disable mapping on the ends, waterways, etc. | |
