SE ND | Never done early wean, but looking for some thoughts on it... Calves born in March and April with normal weaning in November. pastures are getting rough from drought. Will have some wheat stubble to graze soon.
When is good time to wean if we earlier wean, but not looking for extra feed bill. Would like to leave them with cows for feed bill and time factors. Not desperate yet just trying to think ahead. | |
