| I have alot of Alfalfa rounds, last years and this years. Seems like its not worth nothing, and I am thinking of filling the yard with beef steers and growing/finishing on alfalfa. Can any one share their advice /experiences on this. We did 3 norrmande/ red angus steers finished on alfalfa a few years ago and the meat was really, really good, and still today the buyers ask for more of " that beef". I did not log Adg or anything at that time but will this time. Currently have a lot of dairy steers on corn/pellets , but need to find a use for this alfalfa other than giving it away |
