The roof would be 40 ft deep by 100 ft long, as in the size of a building?  And is it going to be flat, or sloping 2-3 feet?
I don't know where you're at, but even in southern Iowa a flat roof won't work because of snow load.  And we avoid bunk lines to the north since cattle don't eat as well in the winter.
