southern MN | I have a small size, originally fed with a cistern low pressure, now off the well. 15-25 head.
Float is the only way I've gone, works well. That little toilet valve gives problems on toilets, much less a harsh environment.....
About the best improvement I've made on the farm, over a dozen years ago I don't really tpremember when. Replaced the valve once.
