ND
Get a JD Tru-Depth Chisel Plow-it has 1250 lb trip shanks, like a 17' model, a disk V-Ripper isn't any wider. Up in this country area farmers will come into wheat ground with a heavy tandem disc & later make a chisel plow pass while others go in with a V-Ripper pass followed by a chisel plow when it greens up again. Or you can No-Till it & spray it down with Rdup.
