I've harvested both pintos and chickpeas with older CIH combines. Here, chickpeas are harder to thrash from the pod than pinto beans. Chickpeas are also less likely to crack. So we run faster rotor speed with the chicks, and tighter concave spacing. At that time I only had the wide space concaves, which worked fine. I'm not sure the round bar would be aggressive enough.
