North Central In. | Claas & Cat had a joint venture making the 116 and 228 with tracks, cat worked with Claas and put the cat tracks on these machines, there were not a lot of them made but they were actually sold in late 1980,s up to 1995 this is when the last machines were sold, at one time there were probably a dozen or more in Indiana Near Columbus In., this was USA Headquarters also there were quite a few down in Missisipi used in rice fields, We have not been around any of these machines, we have 2 Claas Green rubber tired with rwd,which are same size only they have Mercedes engine instead of cat engine used on 228 track machines, we know there are very few of these machines left in usa, would sure like to talk to someone that has one or knows of one of these machines. Hopefully someone will see this and respond.
